Dear General Manager, 

I would like to draw your kind attention to the D.O. letter of even number dated 06.09.2022 from the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Railway Board placing emphasis on quick disposal of the requests for transfer on spouse ground, a year ago.  

Lately, the position of the disposal of such requests was again ascertained from Railways vide letter of even number dated 17.08.2023 which brings out that the number of pending requests still remains very high. 

 

I would like you to personally look into the matter and ensure that all such pending cases intimated by your Railway/PU be examined and their disposal be done as per the extant instructions, by launching a special drive, duly informing the Ministry of the position in this regard latest by 03.10.2023 through email ID erep3branch@gmail.com.
