Removal of Condition Putting Signature and Seal on CGHS Prescription Slip: CGHS Order 13.06.2022

Putting signature & stamp on the referral/prescription/endorsement slip removed by CGHS vide OM dated 13 June 2022.



CORRIGENDUM

Sub: Corrigendum to OM dated 6th June 2022 regarding putting signature & stamp on the referral/prescription/endorsement slip - reg.


With reference to the above mentioned subject, the attention is drawn to Office Memorandum of even No. dated 6th June, 2022 wherein make mandatory to CGHS specialist/CMO i/c/Medical Officer to put their stamp with the name specialty on the referral/ prescription/endorsement slip.

It is partially modified to read as under:

This is applicable to handwritten prescription/referral slip issued by Specialist at CGHS Wing including visiting Specialist of Govt. Hospitals. The computer generated prescription and referral/endorsement issued by CGHS Wellness Centre having the name of prescribing doctor printed on them do not require stamp of prescribing doctor. However, CGHS specialist/CMO i/c/Medical Officer/visiting Specialist must put their stamp with the name of speciality on handwritten prescription/referral/endorsement slip issued under unavoidable circumstances like server issues/power failure only.

The other terms and conditions of Office Memorandum of even No. dated 6th June, 2022 shall remain unchanged.
