Restoration of Night Duty Allowance for Government Employees: NFIR and CRB&CEO Meeting dated 13.05.2022
NFIRs discussions with CRB & CEO on 13th May 2022
Important Items:
1. Restoration of Night duty allowance (NDA) to all categories of Railway Employees: Proposals pending with Finance Ministry
2. Upgrading supervisory posts to GP 4800/5400 (Level-8 & 9respectively): Proposals pending with Finance Ministry
3. Trolley Bags introduction: Running staff are restive and disappointed- decision needs to be reviewed as agreed in the joint meeting held with the federations.
4. Revised cadre structure for points man category in railways- EDs Committee Report may e approved by the Railway Board for implementation.
5. Creation of new posts for maintenance of newly created assets Railway Ministry is requested to approach Ministry of Finance again for lifting ban for facilitating creation of posts in safety categories.
6. Removal of loco pilots/assistant loco pilots involved in SPAD cases - Atmosphere of demoralization and panicky among running staff as Appellate authority i.e, DRMs are reluctant to adhere to Railway Boards guidelines contained in letter number 2017/safety/A&R)18/11 dated 08.01.2018.
The above subjects were discussed with CRBon 13th May 2022 at Railway Bhavan NewDelhi and details item were explained for quick decision as the staff are greatly agitated over non-redressal of the pending items
