Family Pension Rules: Family Pension in case of two wives, दो पत्नी होने पर कैसे मिलेगी फैमिली पेंशन

Family Pension in Case of two wives of a Government Servant: 

i. As per Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare OM. 1/16/1996-P&PW dated 27.11.2012, If deceased government is survived by more than one wives and children from both wives, in such cases family pension will be shared equally by first wife being legally wedded wife along with child from second wife i.e, 50 per cent each.

ii. In such cases second wife will not have any claim for family pension as second marriage is null and void and she is not holding the status of legally wedded wife. 

iii. On the death of a legally wedded wife who is not survived by any eligible child, share of the family pension would not lapse but would be payable to children from second wife in full i.e, 100 per cent.

Family Pension to Unmarried Daughter

iv. As per Rule 7(b) and 7(c) of Rule 54 of CCS Pension Rules: If children from second wife become ineligible to receive pension, such share  of the family pension would not get lapsed but would be payable to legally wedded wife or her children as the case may in full i.e, 100 per cent. 

v. As per Rule 7(b) and 7(c) of Rule 54 of CCS Pension Rules: If the legally weeded wife is not survived by any eligible child, share of family pension would not lapse but would be payable to children from second wife in full i.e, 100 per cent.
