OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Grant of Dearness Allowance to the employees of the State Government

In continuation of this Department's OM of even number dated the 27th April, 2023, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh, is pleased to enhance Dearness Allowance @ 4% from the existing rate of 34% to 38% from 01.04.2024 in respect of the employees and officers of the State Government governed by HP Civil Services(Revised Pay) Rules, 2022. These orders will also be applicable to the officers of All India Services, HP Judicial Services officers and the State Government employees covered by the UGC pay scales.

2. This additional Dearness Allowance shall be paid in cash with the salary of April, 2024 payable in May, 2024 and the arrears accrued from 01.07.2022 onwards shall be paid in the manner as may be prescribed on this

account by separate orders.

3. Other terms and conditions as contained in OM of even number dated 3rd January, 2022 shall continue to be applicable.

4. The payment on account of Dearness Allowance involving fraction of 50 paise and above may be rounded off to the next higher rupee and the fraction of less than 50 paise may be ignored.
