Sub: Regarding Signature/approval of supplementary bill/TA of B-Tour and C- Tour Staff directly by nominated officer.
In reference of above, it is intimated that the TA bills and Supplementary Bills of erstwhile B-Tour and C-tour staff are being received in the Bills section for the signature of APO/Bills. In this regard, it is clarified that APO/Bills is the paying authority only for the A tour staff. Therefore, all the TA bills and Supplementary Bills of the erstwhile B tour and C tour staff will be signed by the concerned controlling officer of the staff and then directly sent to the Accounts department.
Furthermore, bills over Rs. 50000 will be accompanied by a corresponding entry in the Service Record (SR) of the concerned staff. Such an entry in the SR should be signed by the officer who is the custodian of SR.
