NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Rajasthan hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement.- 

(1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) (Amendment) Rules, 2022. 

(2) They shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 01-04-2022. 2. Amendment of Rule 2.- In rule 2 of the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996,-

(i) for the existing expression Hand posts in connection with the affairs of the Rajasthan State which are borne on pensionable establishments", the expression Hand posts in connection with the affairs of the Rajasthan State including those Government servants who were appointed on or after 1st day of January, 2004 either they are in service or not on the date of commencement of the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) (Amendment) Rules, 2022 on fulfillment of conditions laid down by the State Government, which are borne on pensionable establishments" shall be substituted; 

(ii) in clause (e), for the existing punctuation mark 1';", appearing at the end, the expression 1'; and" shall be substituted; 

(iii) in clause (f), for the existing expression 1'; and", the punctuation mark H." shall be substituted; and (iv) the existing clause (g) shall be deleted. By Order ofthe Governor,
